1970 build your own convertible GTX, from Virginia, (cool plates)

elite bike, cars, new car Of course Plymouth didn't make any, so this cool guy decided he was the right man for the job of adding one to the lexicon. Really, look at this, and tell me what was the brain trust at Mother Mopar thinking when they didn't do this? It's a no brainer for sure.

elite bike, cars, new carJust take and find one of the 700 or so ever made convertible Satellites (yeah, right... good luck finding one for sale) add the GTX grill and tail light parts. Put together a bitchin' 440, add some Lakewood bars if you like the look, shoe it with terrific looking Torque Thrust D's, put the GTX emblems behind the side scoops, and Bob's your uncle, (viola is so damn French, them buggers) you've got a damn fine looking and performing drop top.
elite bike, cars, new car Still a little course for some, but the owner said he's not looking to be worried about every scratch and ding, it's a machine for enjoying, not a trophy hunter. Rock on.

Various photos from El Cajon Season opener car show

elite bike,cars,new carJust nice!

elite bike, cars, new car This is the strangest speedo.... the digits aren't inside a gauge face... the bar is below them, and this looks so incredibly 1st grade. So cheap. What was Ford Design thinking? they once upon a time had the slogan "Ford, we have a better idea" must have been after this designer was fired, and put the others on notice.

elite bike, cars, new carAs rare as a 440 4 barrel GTX is... I never thought I'd see a polished rear valance panel... kinda cool!

elite bike, cars, new carSays it all... even includes his phone number

elite bike, cars, new car Wow, one of the best pinstriped trunklids I've ever seen... Cisneros is the artist, damn... wish I knew how to contact that guy... that's awesome!
